Gap Year

Road Trip

During my senior year of high school, pre-pandemic, I decided to take a gap year. I had big plans to travel to Australia and hopefully make my way up to Asia as well. Unfortunately, when Covid became apparent, it was clear that international travel would not be a responisble thing to do.
I decided to work at the local grocery store for a while but when a girl I had met at a camp years before messaged me and asked if I wanted to join her to travel around to parks in her van, I had new gap year plans.

• Hiking
• Spending time at the beach
• Using a camp stove to cook all my meals
• Road trip snacks
• Seeing new places
• Listening to music in the car
